Refund and Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy governs deposits, payments, and project cancellations for services provided by Shack Solutions.
Deposits collected through the website secure scheduling, procurement of materials, and allocation of labor resources. Deposits are generally non-refundable once materials have been ordered, custom items fabricated, or scheduling commitments finalized.
If a client cancels a project before materials are ordered and before scheduling commitments are made, Shack Solutions may, at its discretion, issue a partial refund less administrative costs.
If cancellation occurs after materials are ordered or work has commenced, the client shall be responsible for payment covering all labor performed, materials purchased, restocking fees, delivery charges, and administrative expenses incurred up to the date of cancellation.
Custom-built items, special-order components, architectural drawings, and design consultations are non-refundable once delivered.
If Shack Solutions must cancel a project due to circumstances beyond its control, including supply chain disruption or unsafe site conditions, any unused portion of payments for unperformed work may be refunded.
Refund determinations shall be made in accordance with Ontario consumer protection laws.
